Which DIY store sells the tiles and planks?

  • At present these tiles are available exclusively in our online shop.

Do you offer an installation service?

We do not currently offer this service. We are, however, looking for partners such as interior designers or caretaking services. As soon as we have established contacts, we will publish them on this page.

Which substrates can the planks and tiles be glued to?

  • All non-absorbent substrates such as tiles, PVC and laminate.
  • The substrate should be level. On uneven tiles (relief, wave structure and similar) we cannot guarantee adhesion. We recommend ordering a sample and testing the adhesion in practice before you decide.
  • Please avoid wallpaper, screed, plasterboard, Fermacell and OSB boards. Without pre-treatment the tiles and planks do not adhere to these surfaces.

What has to be done before installation?

  • It is very important to clean the surfaces to be covered so that they are free of grease, dust and dirt. Only then is reliable adhesion guaranteed.
  • When installing on the floor we recommend filling the tile joints to prevent them from showing through. We will shortly launch our own product for filling joints. Like our self-adhesive tiles and planks it will be removable.

Can the tiles also be glued inside a shower cubicle?

  • Yes. The foil seal protrudes on two sides, so the foils bond watertight as you lay them. It is essential to seal the corners and outer edges with a good sanitary silicone (NOT acrylic).

What about external corners?

  • For a clean finish on external corners we recommend angle profiles, available in any well-stocked DIY store in various materials, colours and leg lengths.
  • To fit them, apply silicone to the inner angle and press it onto the outer edge.

Are the tiles and planks suitable for underfloor heating?

  • Yes, our tiles are resistant up to 28 °C.
  • Not suitable for installation in conservatories, on balconies or on open terraces.

What can I do in a rented flat so that the joints do not show through?

  • In response to this frequently asked question, the company Fugofill developed a product tailored to the needs of tenants. All common solutions for levelling joints are permanent and cannot be undone. After some time in development they have now created a removable tile joint filler: FUGOFILL. It fills the existing joints and reliably prevents the tile joints from showing through.

Are there other sizes or decors?

  • No. Our supplier of the blanks ties us to fixed dimensions and decors.

Can the tiles and planks be removed without residue?

  • Yes. Even after years the tiles and planks can be removed without leaving residue.
  • Should any adhesive remain on a tile, it can be rubbed off with a label remover.

Can goods ordered in excess be returned?

  • Yes. Cartons in their original, unopened packaging will be taken back, but ONLY if the goods reach us in a resalable (undamaged) condition. If this is not the case, the goods will not be refunded.
  • The risk of the return shipment lies with the sender.
  • We document any damage and inform the customer immediately.
